The NewMars.com web site and the associated forums and phpBB3 sites are offline.
This developed after hackers took control of the NewMars.com site.
An alternative site is available: new-mars.org/phpBB3/
This post is entered Sunday 2023/03/22.
The outage began some time in the week following the previous Sunday.

The Mars Society servers were down Friday morning at 8 AM EST
They are still down at 10 AM EST
The servers came back up in the afternoon.
